Berlin, Germany, Tempodrom - 31.5.1986.  (Thanks Mick)

It's an ususual although fantastic thing that every single gig of PiL's German tour of 1986 is available on bootleg. The Berlin show, although not being the best quality is easily the best performance from this leg of the tour.

Despite being an obvious soundboard recording the quality is a little muffled, no doubt due to being copied over the years, but still a lot better than the Frankfurt recording. The sound is slightly distant and slightly muffled, but it's still an impecable performance nevertheless. Should this bootleg exist in much improved quality it would probably be one of the finest from the tour... The bass is extremely low in the mix while the drums are very prominent.

As is typical with soundboards there is very little audience noise, although of course the bands instruments are extremely clear.

Lydon doesn't seem to suffer as many problems with spitting as was usual. Indeed he only complains about it once during the whole show.

The band encore with sublime versions of Rise, Annalisa & World Destruction.

There is a cut between Bags and Round where the tape was turned.

There is a cut between Public image & Rise.
