Los Angeles, CA, Grand Olympic Auditorium - 4.5.1980.  (Thanks Mick & Karsten)

This gig originally turned up on bootleg LP, which is where all copies that I have ever heard originate from. I have yet to hear one that comes direct from the master cassette. It will probably never turn up and in truth it's really no big deal as I cannot imagine that the quality could really be improved upon very much.

This is one of those PiL bootlegs that everyone has, so I will not delve into too much detail about the actual performance. Needless to say it's a fantastic bootleg in terms of both quality and performance. Very clear and very clean recording. The only blemish to speak of is on the final two songs, Memories (which is only a very brief instrumental) and Home is where the heart is, when the tape suffers some extreme distortion until the end. This is unfortunate, but just one of those things.

Note: Almost all versions of this gig that are floating around online are incomplete!

There are no cuts in the tape.
